Joe Ketzner | Co-Founder & President

Joe brings more than 25 years of technical and operational leadership to the company. Prior to starting DF, he served as the Chief Operating Officer for Gavilan Resources. Previously, Joe held senior leadership roles with Chesapeake Energy and Marathon Oil, including Vice President – Appalachia, Vice President – Operations & Technical Services, Vice President – Rockies, Vice President – South Texas, and Operations Manager – Haynesville. Joe has fixated his career on building successful teams driven to maximize value from the wellhead to the balance sheet by fostering cultures of open communication and continuous improvement.

Joe earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla and completed the Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School.

Greg Condray | Co-Founder & VP - Subsurface

Greg has over 25 years of technical and subsurface leadership experience in the oil and gas industry. Most recently, he served as the Executive Vice President of Geoscience and Business Development for Roan Resources.  Previously, Greg held technical leadership roles with EOG Resources and Chesapeake Energy, including Exploration Manager – Mid Continent, Geoscience Manager – Rockies, and Geoscience Coordinator – Haynesville. Greg has focused his career on becoming an expert in geologic evaluation and economic development of conventional and unconventional oil and gas reservoirs.

Greg earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science degrees in Geology from the University of Alabama.

Kraig Zimmerman | Co-Founder & VP - Engineering

Kraig brings in excess of 15 years of upstream engineering experience to the company. He has held engineering and leadership roles with Gavilan Resources, Chesapeake Energy and Williams, including Production and Completion Manager, Production Manager – Mid Continent, Planning and Logistics Supervisor – Appalachia, and Production Engineering Supervisor – South Texas.  Kraig discovered his passion for asset optimization early in his career and has selectively taken on roles of greater responsibility while maintaining a dedicated focus on continuously improving his technical proficiency in all aspects of Petroleum Engineering.

Kraig earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Montana Tech.
